Elegance, Movement and Body

Welcome to Kayloma Collies

New Mexico Collie Rescue was officially launched March 2001 by a handful of collie fanciers scattered throughout New Mexico.

The National Animal Interest Alliance is an association of business, agricultural, scientific, and recreational interest formed to protect and promote humane practices and relationships between people and animals.

Collie Club of America, Inc. was formed on August 26, 1886, which makes it one of the oldest specialty clubs in existence. The original club objective was "the encouragement and improvement of the breed of Collies." Along with a club Constitution and By-Laws came the first official Collie Standard, describing "The description of the true-type Collie as adopted by the club."

American Kennel Club maintains a registry for purebred dogs and preserves its integrity. It sanctions dog events that promote interest in, and sustain the process of, breeding for type and function of purebred dogs. It takes whatever actions necessary to protect and assure the continuation of the sport of purebred dogs.
